Dylan Patterson aka Dpizzy, is a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. He is a friend of mine that has grown so much since meeting him in third grade. The foundation for our friendship was always there, and has finally solidified into our current friend group we call “Stopid Gang.”
Patterson plans to attend college, which luckily, he already has his tuition paid for, and during the summer, he plans on getting into trades such as HVAC.
He loves the “Fast and Furious” franchise and contributes his passion for cars to the movies. He looks forward to owning a Porsche Turbo S/911 GT3RS in the future. Patterson is known as a jokester, he even said that a school bus would be cool to deck out and drive around with the boys.
He and his girlfriend set their eyes towards the south when determining whether or not to stay in New Jersey. When looking at a certain state, he said either Maryland or Virginia seems appealing.
Patterson is known for providing the community with excellent customer at Yoan’s Garden in which he has been working for a little bit over two years. Recently, he had to pause from working at Yoan’s for a mental health break.
He is always open to trying new cuisines. He loves southern food, such as BBQ and ribs as Korean BBQ.
Procrastination is an issue for Patterson but his girlfriend motivates him. He explains that he is able to work well under pressure and admits that is when he performs the best.
Patterson says that his biggest accomplishment is being happy. He always tries to keep a smile, no matter what, and lives life to the fullest.
The Torch wishes luck to Dylan through the final days of high school and as we move on to the next chapter of our lives.
