After the Super Bowl LVII rematch, the Philadelphia Eagles won 40-22 in a pretty lopsided game over the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9.
There was nothing but “bad blood” between the two teams since this was the second time the Eagles would play the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. The Eagles C.J. Gardener-Johnson is notorious for his trash-talking abilities, and he did not hold back after winning. Gardener-Johnson went right to Instagram a few hours after the game to mock Travis Kelce.
Gardener-Johnson posted a picture of himself delivering a late hit on Kelce. The Instagram story also ridiculed Kelce, implying that he should have remained with his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole instead of dating Taylor Swift.
Consequently, the story sparked rage amongst Taylor Swift fans who then wanted to punish Gardener-Johnson for his actions.
Gardener-Johnson’s parents own a restaurant in Florida, called King’s Grill. Swift fans quickly left negative reviews about the restaurant on Yelp. The reviews weren’t truthful, but Swift fans wanted to get back at Gardener-Johnson for what he said and did.
“Worst food and service of my life, the chicken was raw. They should close it down for people’s lives at risk,” an alleged Swift fan commented on Yelp.
Gardener-Johnson added that the bad reviews didn’t affect their restaurant much because they were planning to sell it. The restaurant has been closed since January 2025, before the Super Bowl was even played.
“[We are] going to be fine regardless of who posts what or says anything,” Gardener-Johnson and his parents stated when they were asked by TMZ.
But Gardener-Johnson seemed to get the last laugh. While celebrating The Eagles win during a parade in Philadelphia, Gardener-Johnson was wore a sweatshirt with a derogatory comment on the front aimed at Swift.
Who knows what Swift fans will do in return for his actions.
