The choirs at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School raised money by performing singing grams on Valentine’s Day to help fund a future choir trip to Rutgers University.
The Treble Choir and Concert Choir delivered over 135 singing grams to different classrooms on Valentine’s Day.
Treble Choir performed “APT.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars, while Concert Choir performed “Valentine” by Laufey and “Clementine” by Grentperez. Both choirs also performed “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish. According to Mr. Casem, the choir director at JFK, the money raised from the singing grams goes to the choir’s future ACDA trip at Rutgers in which both ensembles perform.
“[The choirs] did a fantastic job spreading Valentine’s Day love and cheer throughout JFK,” Mr. Casem states.
