Sophomore Armani Maglione;s final record for the 2025 season is 31-6.
Sophomore Armani Maglione, representing Iselin at John F. Kennedy High School, won the 2025 NJSIAA District 16 wrestling tournament in the 126-pound weight class on Feb. 22, in South Plainfield.
During the tournament, Maglione beat Alex Tiban of Plainfield High School in the quarter finals. In the semifinals, he won against Joshua Parks of Colonia High School with a major decision of 19-6 and secured the final win against River Hibler of Paramus Catholic High School with a tight 14-10 decision.
Maglione secured the championship title in his weight class at the District 16 tournament. Maglione’s final record for the 2025 season makes ends at 31 and 6. Between his freshman and sophomore year, he has 59 total wins.
