The Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is a diverse dining restaurant in South Plainfield N.J. that includes many different types of cuisines from around the world.
Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet has become a favorite dining spot for coworkers, friends and families. It features and caters a variety of different dining options with an all-you-can-eat hibachi grill, a daily sushi bar and vegan options. Whenever you’re in the mood for food like lo mien, crab rangoon or fried rice, there’s something for everyone.
The hibachi station is incredible because the chef cooks right in front of you, showcasing their special skills and tricks that adds excitement to the experience.
The staff is mostly all women, which is rare in most restaurants.
The food stations and tables were well maintained and the decor of the restaurant was appealing which made it very welcoming. Employees were polite and very attentive. The buffet trays are refilled with fresh food constantly.
At the sushi bar, there is a vast variety of different types of sushi. You can choose from raw, fresh or cooked sushi. They offer California rolls, spring rolls and spicy tuna rolls that are fulfilling and tasty.
At the hibachi grill, there is a small wait before the chef can start, but still maintains professional service. The chefs prepare steak, poultry, seafood and vegetables that are fresh and flavored with just the right amount of seasoning. As with traditional hibachi restaurants, the food is prepared on a flat-top grill right in front of the customer.
At the dessert line, they feature soft-serve ice cream of various flavors, cookies, cakes and puddings. We felt that there could definitely be more dessert options, since it felt very limited compared to the meals that were offered at the main buffet.
Overall, the restaurant offers a lasting impression on their customers, making them crave another visit. The buffet provides an expensive experience for an affordable price.
The food’s quality exceeds expectation, and the service surpasses professional standards and makes you feel as though you are at home.
The Torch highly recommends South Plainfield’s Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet.
