
Cameron Daniels is currently a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Cameron loves to be with his family and enjoys hanging out with his friends. He is going to trade school after this year. Cameron is always trying to be his best for himself and his family.
How were you feeling going into your first year of high school?
Cameron: Going into my first year of high school, it was right after the pandemic ended so I was a little nervous. The pandemic was still going on so we still had to wear masks, but it felt like it was a new chapter in my life.
What accomplishments have you achieved throughout high school?
An accomplishment I have achieved was that I won 50-60 wins out of my whole career.
With you playing many sports in JFK, which moment was the best throughout high school?
In my sophomore year wrestling team, we won the division. I think it was the first time we won in 10 years.
If you had to pick one teacher to give you a life quote everyday, who would it be and why?
The teacher I would pick would be Mr. Heeney because he is a history teacher and he probably knows a lot of quotes from people in the past.
What advice would you give to the incoming freshmen?
Advice I would give to the incoming freshmen is to just be yourself and get active. Get involved in clubs and keep up with your grades.
If you had to break a school record in sports, what record would you choose to break?
I would want to have the most wins in wrestling.
Are there any things you wish you could have changed from the time you’ve been at JFK?
I would probably go to more clubs and focus more on my grades.
What were your favorite classes attending JFK and why?
I loved my cooking class and teacher Ms Santana.
What was the most challenging thing about high school?
The most challenging thing in high school would be maintaining weight and focusing on my grades at the same time.
