Ayush Desai is a 14-year-old freshman at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, taking his first year of Journalism where he is a contributor on The Torch. He will graduate in the year 2028 and wants to be at least in the top 20 in the rankings. Ayush decided to take this course because he is interested in learning about things happening daily around the world and  because he loves to write. Ayush likes to spend his time playing different sports, writing stories, listening to music, playing instruments and he is interested in astronomy. His interest in astronomy sparked when he first saw the stars in the night sky. In the future, he plans to make a career in astronomy or astrophysics and would like to make it to an ivy league college.
