Joshua Alencar is currently a senior attending John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. He is currently a contributing member of the Torch and this is his first year taking journalism. He likes reading and writing sports articles. He chose to take journalism to write about JFK’s news and sports events, and to get better at writing. Josh played and started on the varsity football team during the fall. He is a fan of the NFL team the Pittsburgh Steelers. Outside of school, Josh likes to workout, go to the field and run and listen to music. After high school, Josh plans to pursue a career in trade school as an electrician.
