Lily Bausch is a 15-year-old contributor to The Torch. She is currently a sophomore at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and is ecstatic to start her first year in journalism! She was interested in taking Intro to Journalism because Mrs. Prusicki was her English teacher during her freshman year and recommended it to students. Lily is in JFK’s General Choir, Concert Choir, and Spring Musical. During the summer, she participates in Teens in the Park, a theatre program for teenagers. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, singing, reading and longboarding. Her favorite hobby is watching movies, and her favorites include Zombieland, Saw, and Whiplash. Lily’s dream for the future is to go to college and become an anthropologist.
