Ryanne Belgaid, a contributor to the Torch, is a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. She was born in New Brunswick, on May 25, 2004. She is in her first year in journalism, and is interested because it is already a passion of a few family members. In her free time, Ryanne likes to watch drama-filled reality shows, such as, the Great British Baking Show, where she learns British slang she likes to use for fun. She also likes discovering songs to potentially add to her playlist. A hobby of hers is creating short stories from writing prompts she finds online. Ryanne is also interested in backstage construction club, where she helps set up the stage for the play that specific year.
