Surina Ediga is a contributor to The Torch for the 2024-2025 school year. As a senior, this is her first year in journalism, but her passion for English, current events, and engaging with different perspectives drew her to the publication. Beyond journalism, Surina is a choreographer for dance exchange, a cast member in the school musical, and vice president of the French National Honor Society. She is also an active member of the national honor society and the English National Honor Society. Outside of school, she practices Bharatanatyam, a South Indian classical dance form, and volunteers in her community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, discovering new music, spending time with friends and family, and watching Netflix. Excited for her final year, Surina looks forward to contributing to The Torch and sharing compelling stories with the school community.
