Nina Santiago is a 17-year-old author for The Torch, JFK Memorial High’s online newspaper. During her first year in journalism, she hopes to expand her knowledge on the skills of journalistic writing. Nina took journalism to receive the chance to express her ideas, and provide information on her school and the activities it includes for her fellow classmates. Already being in her junior year of high school, Nina took it upon herself to now become more involved in her school. Outside of the journalism classroom, Nina enjoys partaking in student council and cheerleading for JFK. During her free time, Nina spends her days hanging out with her friends and family. Nina hopes that during her time working for The Torch, she will be able to produce thorough and interesting information for the students at JFK Memorial High.
