The MET museum upholds the tradition of displaying the 20-foot Christmas tree for the holiday season.

Mrs. Acuna-Francisco and Mrs. Rotella scheduled a trip to the Metropolitan Art Museum on Dec. 19 for their art students.

The teachers scheduled the trip so that their students were able to go on an authentic art experience. After collecting money from school fundraisers and $40 from the participants, the trip was made possible.

The MET Museum is located in Manhattan, N.Y. and students going on the trip had to pay $40 in cash. On the 50-minute bus ride, students were able to view all the wonders of Manhattan such as the Rockefeller Center and the Radio City Music Hall.

At the museum, students paired off and went on to explore the art pieces. Students were able to buy souvenirs from the MET which included magnets, posters, bags, clothing, and so much more.
