Ababa Lorde, Fashion Editor
Ababa Lorde is a sophomore at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School and is a contributer for The Torch. Born on April 15, 2005, she is 14 years old. Ababa was born in Barbados and moved to Iselin as a child. Ababa’s favorite subjects in school are English and Fashion. She plays volleyball, basketball, and track here at JFK. Ababa’s immediate plans are to start making and selling her own clothing, which ties into her long term goal of going to design or art school. In five years she sees herself in college such as SCAD University, FIT, Parsons, or Montclair. After she graduates, Ababa would like to work for a boutique or designer. A couple of her role models in the fashion industry are Alexander Wang and Zac Posen.
