Rachel Torrey is a 15-year-old freshman from John F Kennedy Memorial High School. Although she was born in New York, Rachel considers herself to be a Jersey girl at heart. In her free time, Rachel loves to dance and regularly attends classes where she is currently learning jazz. She loves pop music, and her favorite artists are Sabrina Claudio and Ariana Grande. Rachel’s favorite subject is English, and she loves reading. Rachel is known to be hardworking and kind towards others. Her main goal for this school year is to make the honor roll, and in the future, she wants to become a veterinarian. She loves spending time with her friends and family, and she looks up to her mother because she gives good advice which often helps her make tough decisions. Although she felt slightly unprepared, Rachel has enjoyed her first semester at JFK and looks forward to the rest of her high school experience.
