The Torch

Bettina Kingsly is a sophomore at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. She is an author on the school’s newspaper, “The Torch.” It’s her first year in journalism and she took the class because she is interested in writing and exploring careers in that area, she has friends in the same class and she loves the teacher, Ms. Prusicki. She is looking forward to participating in multiple after school activities but currently she is only in women’s choir. In her free time, she spends a lot of time on social media and Netflix. She loves music and it takes up a great deal of her time. She used to play the clarinet and violin and currently plays the piano and rings a bell in choir.
