Jude Hasan, Contributor
Judith (Jude) Hasan is a contributor to the Torch, and as of 2022-2023, they are a sophomore at JFKMHS. Jude goes by they/he pronouns and because of a brewing passion to write informative and opinionated pieces, they are in Journalism. He is a creative-analytical thinker who can’t help scrutinizing the pieces of media, literature, and current event news he comes across. They are currently on the tennis team, S.T.A.R.S Club, WEvolve Club, and plan to join Stage Crew to help with the upcoming plays in school. Jude likes to watch video essays, read literary fiction, and rant to his friends about everything on his mind. Their favorite Spiderman in the MCU, is Andrew Garfield. He loves the Poppy War series and is currently waiting to read the author's next book, Babel: Or the Necessity of Violence: An Arcane History of the Oxford Translators Revolution. Jude wishes to contribute to school in meaningful ways to them, and attend a university near their home. He wishes to be fulfilled in life, meet new people, and travel the world with loved ones; he specifically wants to go to Edinburgh for holiday.
