Keya Patel is currently a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. She plans on majoring in Biochemistry at Rutgers New Brunswick, in hopes of becoming a medical scientist. It is her second year as an active contributor to The Torch. Keya is also part of WEvolve, the backstage crew, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and National Science Honor Society. When she is not in school or participating in clubs, she enjoys playing volleyball, listening to music, baking, coloring, and hanging out with her dogs, Pepsi and Coco. Her favorite food is cookies and she loves embracing her cultural activities like Garba and going to the temple.
