Licey Rodriguez, Contributor
Licey Rodriguez is a 16-year-old senior in her first year of journalism. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she transferred to JFKMHS just last year as a junior. With only about 6 months of high school experience due to covid-19 canceling half of her freshman year and her entire sophomore year, Licey came back into the world in a new state, a new school, with a whole new archetype of people, suburban teenagers. She found it hard to fit in as a city girl in a school of suburbanites until one day she met Ms. Prusicki and she recommended Licey join intro to journalism where she guaranteed Licey would find her people. Outside of school, Licey likes to paint, sew, and read. Being a contributor in journalism is now added to the list of her creative outlets.
