Sarvesh Kuppani
Sarvesh Kuppani is a 14-year-old freshman at JFK Memorial High School. This is his first year in a journalism class where he is a contributor to The Torch, the JFK Memorial School’s newspaper. Sarvesh chose journalism because he is interested in photography and writing news. He has always enjoyed taking pictures and making news known to other people. His favorite hobbies include playing cricket and watching Indian movies. He has been interested in cricket since the 5th grade as he enjoyed watching and checking scores quite often. Since the age of four, Indian movies have been an addiction because he feels they are a great way to relieve his daily stress. In school, Sarvesh is a part of the JFK cross-country team. Despite his lack of endurance, he hopes to improve with consistent practice. Outside of school, he plays cricket for a club called Das Kings. He also loves to listen to music, and his favorite music artist is an Indian named Anirudh.
