Mikael-Ali Sheikh
During his second year at JFKMHS, at 14 years old, Mikael-Ali Sheikh is a contributor to his school’s newspaper, The Torch. Although this is his first year in Journalism, he is willing to work hard and be the greatest journalist he can be. Mikael-Ali wants to be in Journalism to improve his writing skills and to learn how to interview people. He volunteers at ICOB Academy, where he helps set up food, water, and chairs for the congregation. At home, he spends his time taking care of his pets and maintaining the yard. In his spare time, he plays video games with his brother and hangs out at the park. While he does plan to one day become a lawyer, he hopes he can improve his journalism skills and learn to become a great writer.
