Shannon Kavaja, Assistant Editor-in-Chief
Shannon Kavaja is currently a senior contributor to The Torch and has been contributing since her sophomore year when she was Editor-in-Chief. She has always been extremely passionate when it comes to writing, especially in Journalism. She keeps herself quite busy on and off campus including being a Student Council representative, an American Cancer Society member, being in the Women’s Choir and the Spring Musical, participating in JFK’s Cross Country and Spring Track Programs, and being a self-published author. She also was inducted into the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Next year, she hopes to major in Forensic Psychology and Investigative Journalism. She is excited about what The Torch has to offer her this year, as well as what she can contribute to the program.
