Maansi Amin
Maansi Amin is currently a junior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. This is her first year being a part of journalism and is a contributor for The Torch. She is an active part of her high school and participates in clubs and activities like Student Council, Kennedy Cancer Society, HOSA, Women’s Empowerment Club, Heroes & Cool Kids, and is a student choreographer in Dance Exchange. In her free time she likes to listen to music, sleep, read books, watch Bollywood movies and dance. She has two years of professional training in the Indian classical dance form Kathak. Her favorite book genres include romance and murder mystery. She loves listening to pop, rap, Indian-pop, classical, r&b, and more. Her favorite artists include Arijit Singh and The Weeknd. She is a part of the class of 2025 and would like to attend Rutgers University in the near future.
