Maansi Amin is currently a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. This is her second year being a part of journalism and is a contributor for The Torch. She is an active part of her high school and participates in clubs and activities like National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Student Council, Kennedy Cancer Society, Heroes & Cool Kids, and is a student choreographer in Dance Exchange. In her free time she likes to listen to music, sleep, read books, watch Bollywood movies and dance. She has two years of professional training in the Indian classical dance form Kathak. Her favorite book genres include romance and murder mystery. She loves listening to pop, rap, Indian-pop, classical, r&b, and more. Her favorite artists include Arijit Singh, The Weeknd, and Tory Lanez. She plans to attend Rutgers University, specifically Rutgers Business School, to pursue Accounting post graduate.
