Meelah Joseph
Meelah Joseph is a senior at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. She is currently a contributor in Ms.Prusicki’s Intro to Journalism course. This young and independent Sagittarius plays for the Kennedy softball team and was also named this year's STEP Team Captain. Outside of her academic life, Joseph spends much of her time doing things that promote self-improvement and healing. These things consist of working on her physical health at the gym or simply going for walks around the neighborhood with her family. 90% of the time, you will hear Meelah listening to a variety of music such as Billie Eilish, Lauryn Hill, Sza, or Frank Ocean. The list is never-ending. If Meelah isn’t working with her mom or scrolling through Pinterest, she is painting, drawing, journaling, or reading in her incense-infused room. She aspires to attend an HBCU where she will either study medicine or psychology and eventually live amongst the city that never sleeps; NYC. Though she is still finding herself and discovering what her purpose is in this lifetime, she hopes to be an impactful and successful individual in this world.
