Zayda Kodua
Zayda Kodua is a 17-year-old senior who currently attends John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. As a first-year journalism student and a contributor to The Torch, she aims to further explore the area of Journalism. With no prior knowledge of the course, she intends to learn, explore, and retain as much information as she can about the field. Kodua is an active member of JFK's English Honor Society and Pegasus, the schools literary magazine. She enjoys reading in her spare time and learning new ways to style her hair. Her passion for hairstyling arose during the pandemic. Baking, another passion of hers, takes up most of Kodua's free time; she loves the trial and error aspect it entails. The 17-year-old is also involved in her school's set design and construction, where she builds sets for the school's annual musical. Zayda plans on majoring in Computer Science and hopes to incorporate her love for creativity throughout her life and career.
